Intelligence Without Borders

Global Location Intelligence for an Interconnected World

Crime, risk, fraud, and security challenges rarely stop at national borders. Neither should the intelligence used to understand them.

Fog Data Science provides public- and private-sector organizations with access to commercially available device location intelligence spanning more than 200 countries and territories, helping analysts uncover movement patterns, relationships, and activity that may be difficult to see through traditional data sources alone.

See Connections That Cross Borders

Today’s investigations and risk environments are increasingly interconnected. Criminal networks operate across jurisdictions. Fraud infrastructure can span continents. People, devices, goods, and organizations move through complex international networks.

Fog adds a device-centric layer of intelligence that helps organizations understand where activity occurs, how movement develops over time, and where seemingly unrelated activity intersects.

Reveal complements existing investigative and intelligence sources by helping analysts identify patterns and connections that may otherwise remain fragmented across jurisdictions, datasets, and investigative disciplines.

No single source provides a complete picture of global mobility. Fog combines commercially available data sources to support broader geographic coverage, richer analytical context, and both historical and low-latency intelligence.

Global Coverage. Multiple Data Sources. Greater Visibility.

Historical Location Intelligence

[SDK-Sourced Data]

Fog provides access to historical device location intelligence across more than 200 countries and territories. Commercially available SDK-derived signals can help analysts reconstruct movement, identify recurring patterns, examine activity around locations of interest, and develop investigative leads over time.

Best suited for:
Historical movement • Location-based discovery • Association analysis • Cross-border travel • Recurring activity

Low-Latency Global Intelligence

[Location Stream]

Available exclusively outside the United States, Fog’s Location Stream provides low-latency mobility intelligence across 40+ countries.

Location Stream uses commercially sourced, RTB-derived mobility signals from multiple suppliers and makes anonymized observations available for analysis through Reveal. Supported markets can receive updated observations as frequently as every 15–30 minutes, providing analysts with a more current view of developing movement and activity.

Privacy by Design
Location Stream is not offered within the United States. Fog intentionally maintains different data offerings across markets as part of our privacy-forward approach to responsible location intelligence.

Intelligence Across the Movement Lifecycle

Discover
Identify devices observed at relevant locations or areas.

Understand
Examine historical movement, recurring locations, dwell patterns, and geographic relationships.

Connect
Identify shared locations, recurring associations, and potential co-travel patterns.

Monitor
Where Location Stream is available, examine low-latency observations of developing activity.

Analyze
Combine mobility signals with available temporal, geographic, network, device, and other metadata.

Global Challenges. Actionable Intelligence.

Human Trafficking & Migrant Smuggling
Understand movement between origin, transit, and destination locations; identify recurring activity around recruitment, staging, transportation, or exploitation sites; and surface devices or locations that may warrant further investigation.

Organized Crime & Illicit Supply Chains
Examine cross-border logistics, recurring activity around ports, warehouses, border regions, and distribution points, and identify relationships among actors who may not appear connected through conventional records.

Fraud & Financial Crime
Connect digital investigations with physical activity by identifying mobility patterns associated with suspected fraud infrastructure, scam centers, facilitators, logistics locations, and related activity across jurisdictions.

Fugitives, Missing Persons & Vulnerable Individuals
Develop location-based leads when traditional records have gone cold, identify recurring movement patterns or relevant associated devices, and help prioritize locations and jurisdictions for lawful follow-up.

Border & National Security
Analyze cross-border movement, irregular migration patterns, travel to and from regions of concern, and activity around locations relevant to national security missions.

Strategic & Operational Intelligence
Understand population flows, travel patterns, geopolitical movement, and changes in activity over time to support strategic analysis and operational planning.

Raw location data has limited value without the ability to efficiently analyze it.

The Reveal platform provides an intuitive analytical environment for exploring device location intelligence—from individual observations to complex movement patterns spanning multiple locations and countries.

Analysts can begin with a known location, time period, or device identifier and progressively explore historical activity, recurring locations, associations, and geographic patterns to develop new investigative leads.

Turn Global Mobility Data Into Investigative Intelligence

Fog’s technology operates globally, but successful implementation depends on understanding the local environment. Our growing network of trusted international partners provides regional expertise, local customer support, training, implementation assistance, and market knowledge.

Global Reach. Local Expertise.

Global Intelligence. Responsibly Delivered.

Access to powerful data carries an equally important responsibility to use it appropriately.

Fog Data Science is committed to providing location intelligence within a framework built around privacy, responsible sourcing, lawful use, and appropriate access controls.

Our global data strategy recognizes that privacy expectations and regulatory requirements vary across jurisdictions. Fog works with trusted commercial data providers and structures its products and data availability accordingly.

For customers operating within the European Union, Reveal is designed to support GDPR-compliant use of location intelligence.

In North America, Fog maintains a deliberately more restrictive data model. Low-latency Location Stream data is not offered within the United States, reflecting our commitment to balancing investigative utility with evolving privacy expectations.

Powerful intelligence and responsible data practices are not competing objectives. We believe the future of location intelligence requires both.

Global Technology. Local Relationships.

Working internationally requires more than access to data. It requires local knowledge, responsive support, and partners who understand the operating environment.
